What would your real estate business look like if the phone was answered, the follow-up happened, the prospecting got done, and income did not depend on your next closing?
For years, agents have been told to work harder: make more calls, attend more open houses, chase more leads, and push through the slow months. I know that world. I have spent more than 30 years in real estate.
But the problem is that one person is expected to do everything.
You are at a showing when a seller calls. By the time you call back, they have spoken to another agent. You promise to follow up with a buyer on Thursday, but Thursday disappears under appointments and paperwork. You have a great open-house conversation, then realize the details never made it into your client records. Prospecting waits for a free afternoon that never comes.
Meanwhile, your bills arrive every month, whether a commission closes or not.
That is why I am expanding beyond teaching BPOs alone. I am introducing the Agent Accelerator Course, a five-week group course built around a holistic approach to the business. The goal is to help agents become whole agents: strong at sales, equipped to earn between closings, and supported by systems that keep opportunities and relationships moving.
A day in the life of an accelerated agent
Imagine it is Tuesday morning. You check one clear view of your day: appointments, people who need attention, and BPO assignments in progress. You know where to start.
A homeowner calls while you are walking into a showing. An AI phone assistant answers, asks what they need, and captures their address and timeline. If you are available, the call can come to you with context. If you are busy, you have a short summary waiting when you finish. That opportunity has a next step instead of sitting in voicemail.
The homeowner wants to meet Saturday. Your connected scheduling process checks availability and sends a confirmation. Notes from the conversation go into your relationship system. When the homeowner mentions a possible job move in May, that detail is saved and a follow-up is scheduled. You can walk into the appointment remembering the person, not just the property.
Later, you spend a few focused minutes prospecting. Instead of searching through disconnected lists and guessing whom to call, you define the homeowners you want to reach and use your tools to find and organize potential opportunities. The list gives you a starting point. Your local knowledge and personal outreach turn it into real conversations.
Between appointments, you work on a broker price opinion. The property details and photos are coordinated, the comparable sales are gathered, and technology helps prepare the first pass. You check the comps, challenge the adjustments, correct mistakes, and make the final valuation decision. Your license, your name, your opinion. On a routine assignment, a well-built workflow can bring the report portion under 30 minutes, although travel, photos, and complex properties take longer.
At the end of the day, maybe no house closed. But a seller was answered, an appointment was booked, a buyer received the follow-up you promised, new prospects entered your pipeline, and paid BPO work moved forward.
That is an everyday win. It is a day that produced value and future opportunity without depending on a closing at 4 p.m.
Why BPOs belong in the whole-agent picture
I have built substantial income from BPOs alongside my sales work. In the video introducing this idea, I share a figure of about $150,000 a year from BPOs alone. That is my experience, not a typical student result or an income guarantee.
BPOs matter because real estate income is uneven. Banks, asset managers, and other clients pay agents for property opinions. The individual fees vary, and doing the work well takes skill. With a dependable process, those assignments can create a second stream of work while sales transactions develop.
But a whole agent is more than an efficient BPO producer. The same attention to systems should strengthen the sales side: answering inquiries, setting appointments, recording what matters, following up, and finding the next client. BPO income helps support the business. Client relationships help it grow.
What the five weeks are for
The Agent Accelerator Course brings agents together to build this approach step by step. We will work on:
- Finding and handling BPO opportunities with a repeatable process and sound valuation judgment.
- Capturing calls and inquiries so potential clients have a clear next step.
- Coordinating appointments, property information, photos, and daily tasks.
- Maintaining client relationships through useful notes and timely follow-up.
- Using AI and prospecting tools to reduce repetitive work and identify opportunities.
- Putting the pieces into a daily plan you can actually run.
The group setting matters. You can see how other agents apply the ideas, solve real problems together, and leave each week with another part of the system taking shape.
Agents need a plan that connects income, service, and follow-through. They need room to use the experience and judgment that made them agents in the first place.
That is the pivot. That is the whole agent. And that is what the Agent Accelerator is being built to help you become.
